Assam Police arrests Congress MLA

Assam Congress MLA Aftabuddin Mollah, during a public event accused Hindu priest, holy person with offensive comments, due to which the MLA was arrested by Assam Police. According to the reports, the MLA got arrested under Sections 295(a), 153A (1) (b), and 505(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Dispur Police Station. Mollah during the event said, "Wherever there is a rape, always a sadhu or namghoria is involved. They blame Muslims to hide the sins committed by Hindu priests."

In Assam’s Hojai district,news caught attention about a bakery employee of Ruchi Bakery killed his coworker in Abhaypur region of the district.
