Assam Government in an order to promote young talents across the state, Assam has decided to organize a series of cultural events, ‘Assam Sanskritik Mahasangram’ under Cultural Affairs department. Sikkim flood: Assam education Minister updates on stranded students evacuation

Majority of Assam students who were enrolled at Sikkim-Manipal University, where the students were stranded in the flood-hit caused in Sikkim recently. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state government and the Army wanted a complete withdrawal of the controversial law but the Centre took a 'cautious' approach by continuing it in some areas.
