Assam govt launches scheme for loan waiver, microfinance

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has launched new scheme Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan for supporting financially, entrepreneurs in Assam by providing Rs. 2 lakh to each. According to the sources, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma along with the scheme has also announced about benefitting Micro-finance loan borrowers under the new scheme launched. Sarma said, “A section of the media also claimed that we have backtracked on our earlier poll promises. I want to make it clear that we have been fulfilling all our promises.
