Dutch government begins auction of 5G frequencies.

The Dutch government started an auction Monday of new 5G wireless frequencies, with telecom companies bidding so they can provide customers with the faster mobile communication networks. The government says the online auction of 700, 1,400 and 2,100 megahertz frequencies could last days or longer and will raise a minimum of 900 million euros ($1 billion). A 3,500 megahertz frequency will be auctioned off at a later date because its use for 5G networks could interfere with the work of a satellite communications interception facility in the Northern Netherlands used by Dutch intelligence agencies. India is likely to receive around six fully-loaded Rafale fighter aircraft by July-end fitted with the long-range Meteor air-to-air missiles, which is expected to boost the capabilities of the Indian Air Force.The Rafales along with the Meteor missiles can hit targets at more than 150 km strike range. New Delhi: A day after Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray clarified that restrictions will continue even after June 30 across the state, the Kalyan-Dombivli municipal corporation has announced complete shutdown in 33 of the total 160 containment zones. Notably, more than 3,300 cases have been reported from Kalyan and Dombivali so far.
