In between the horrors of the Covid-19 pandemic, Madhya Pradesh witnesses yet another horror, a six-year-old girl gets raped and blinded by a man near her home in Damoh in Madhya Pradesh, says the Police. The kid has been admitted to hospital in a serious condition.She was playing with her friends close to her home last evening when she was drawn away by an unknown man, the police say. Centre Sends Written Complaint to Punjab Gets From For Treating ACs As Essentials

Punjab is the latest state to be told off by the centre for "diluting" coronavirus lockdown guidelines with decisions like designating the sale and servicing of air-conditioners as "essential". The state withdrew its order last evening. The home ministry had also written a sharp letter to Kerala for allowing restaurants, book shops and barber shops to reopen in parts of the state. Health Workers and Policemen Attacked Last Evening in West Bengaluru

54 people have been arrested so far after an incident where a quarantine team of policemen and health workers was allegedly attacked last evening in West Bengaluru by a large mob of about 200 locals. They visited the place as they got information that 58 people down there had came into contact with 3 coronavirus patients and hence needed to be isolated.
