Pakistan answers India’s notification regarding the Indus Waters Treaty

On Thursday, India announced that it had received Pakistan's answer to a notice it had submitted more than two months before asking for a review and amendment of the 62-year-old Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) for the management of transnational rivers. The letter submitted by Pakistan's Indus Water Commissioner to his Indian counterpart was forwarded by the Pakistani Foreign Ministry on April 3, according to External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi.
