Kollywood actor Sivakarthikeyan and evergreen Sai Pallavi played the lead roles in the patriotic film titled Amaran. The film is a biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a commissioned officer in the Rajput Regiment of the Indian Army. Mukund Varadarajan was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra for his actions during the counter-terrorism operation.
After teasing the fans for the last few days, now the makers have announced the release date. Amaran will be released in theaters on October 31 during the Diwali festival. The makers exposed a fierce poster of Sivakarthikeyan to reveal the release date. Rangoon fame Rajkumar Periyasamy is the director.
Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, R Mahendran and Sony Pictures International Productions are producing the film on a large scale, and there is good publicity surrounding the film. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the tune. Amaran will have a multilingual release.
