Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day is continuing its impressive run at the Indian box office. The Tom Holland-led superhero film, which was released in India on July 30, 2026, has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark in just two weeks. The film has also overtaken Avatar: The Way of Water to become the highest-grossing movie in India. The film saw a decline in earnings on its 15th day, collecting Rs 3.41 crore on Thursday compared with Rs 6.45 crore on Wednesday. Despite the drop, its overall performance remains strong. Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now recorded an India net collection of Rs 441.41 crore.
The film has surpassed Avatar: The Way of Water, which had earned Rs 391.40 crore in India. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day features Tom Holland in the lead role.
Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has seen a more gradual rise at the box office. Released on July 17, the film has completed 28 days in cinemas. On Day 27, it earned Rs 1.52 crore, taking its total India collection to Rs 175.27 crore. The movie stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya and Anne Hathaway.
Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, released on July 23, has completed nearly three weeks in theatres. On its 22nd day, the political action drama reportedly earned around Rs 318-322 crore worldwide.
Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi’s DC The Bloody Valentine earned Rs 1.47 crore on Day 7. The film’s total collection has reached Rs 39.22 crore.
Pankaj Tripathi-starrer Ohh My Dog, meanwhile, has slowed at the box office. The film collected Rs 0.25 crore net on its sixth day from 641 shows. Its India gross collection stands at Rs 4.78 crore, while its net collection has reached Rs 4 crore. So far, Spider-Man: Brand New Day remains the biggest performer among these films, with its India net collection standing at Rs 441.41 crore.
