A coordination meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of ADC, Tawang Rinchin Leta to review the preparations for the 5th State Level Archery Championship.
The championship is scheduled to be held from October 10 to 12, 2026 at the Gyalwa Tsangyang Gyatso High Altitude Sports Stadium in Tawang.
With 12 teams from across Arunachal Pradesh expected to participate, the championship will provide a strong platform for young archers to showcase their talent and compete for a place at the national level.
The event is being supported by the Arunachal Archery Association, Sports Authority of Arunachal Pradesh, Additional Directorate General of Public Information, Gajraj Corps, Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavana.
The upcoming archery stadium also promises to be a landmark addition to Tawang’s sporting infrastructure.
