This Durga Puja, Swiggy has joined hands with 20 of Kolkata’s most popular and prominent Durga Puja pandals to offer a unique Pujor Bhog Experience. Available at a token price of INR 71, Swiggy is offering curated boxes of Pujor Bhog, each reflecting the rituals and culinary traditions of the participating pandals. The Pujor Bhog will be delivered from the 18th of October. Additionally, Swiggy has also launched Shrestho Pujo, its flagship in-app interactive campaign that allows users to vote for their favourite pandals.
Customers can order Pujor Bhog on the Swiggy app and get them delivered from October 18 onwards. Each Pujor Bhog has been designed to capture the essence of Durga Puja and includes puja rituals, sindoor, an earthy idol of Ma Durga, and signature dishes from the pandals such as Aloo Phulkopi, Khichuri, Cholar Dal, Basanti Polao and Payes.
Some of the participating Committees include Dum Dum Park Bharat Chakra, Santhoshpur Lake Pally, 66 Pally Durga Puja and Bosepukur Sitala Mandir.
Swiggy’s Shrestho Pujo campaign is designed to blend culture, technology, and gamification. Live from October 16, customers can vote for their favourite pandal on the Swiggy app and stand a chance to win rewards worth upto Rs 100. The app features individual profiles of more than 50 pandals from across the city, showcasing their history, and idols through curated photos and details. The feature also brings virtual access for customers- especially seniors and those unable to pandal-hop physically- to experience the cultural richness.
