Three-day see learning workshop inaugurated at tawang

Arunachal Pradesh Minister for Education, Tourism, Pasang Sona on Thursday inaugurated a three-day workshop on SEE Learning at Thupten Shedrupling in Tawang.

The workshop is being organised by the Department of Karmik and Adhyatmik Affairs (DoKAA) in collaboration with the Thupten Shedrupling Foundation, Tawang, with an emphasis on nurturing social, emotional and ethical values alongside academic learning.

The inaugural session was graced by Tawang MLA Namgey Tsering, ZPC Leki Gombu , Secretary DoKAA Karma Leki; Tawang DC Namgyal Angmo; Tawang SP Darang Tasi, ZPM Tawang Sonam N Nordzin, ZPM Kyidphel MonpaTenzin , Vice Chairperson DoKAA S Chhoedup, Director, DoKAA Thupten Kalden, Venerable Tengyur Rinpoche, Monpa Mimang Tsogpa, president Phurpa Wangyal, MMT Secretary Phuntsok Sangey Nguimo, senior officers and teachers.

Geshe Lhakdor, Founder Member of SEE Learning, attended as the keynote speaker, while Reshma Piramal joined as Lead Facilitator for the workshop.

The three-day programme provides an important platform for educators to deepen their understanding of Social, Emotional and Ethical (SEE) Learning and explore ways of creating compassionate, responsible and value-based learning environments.

It seeks to make education not merely a tool to enrich the mind—but nurture compassionate hearts, responsible individuals and a better society.
