In a coordinated anti-narcotics operation, authorities seized more than 4,200 bottles of codeine phosphate-based substances in Aralia, under the jurisdiction of Sonamura Police Station. The raid, carried out by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Sepahijala District Police, Special Task Force (STF), and Border Security Force (BSF), is considered one of the largest drug busts in the region this year. The operation involved three search teams working simultaneously across 16–17 houses in the area.
