Tripura seeks NEC support to achieve self-sufficiency in milk, meat, and eggs

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha has submitted a ₹431.71 crore proposal to the North Eastern Council (NEC) aimed at achieving self-sufficiency in milk, meat, and egg production across the state and the region. 135 students awarded Gold Medals at MBB University convocation

He was speaking at the first convocation ceremony of Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) University held at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan. Dr. Saha, who also holds the Education portfolio, said the state government is working with a long-term plan to develop MBB University into an advanced educational institution. Vikshit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan begins May 29 in Tripura

CCTV now compulsory in all private schools in Tripura

In a major step towards bolstering student safety, the Tripura government has directed all private schools in the state to install CCTV cameras across key locations on campus. The move was disclosed in an affidavit submitted to the Tripura High Court on May 8 during a hearing on a PIL concerning school safety.
