Tripura is set to witness the realization of a long-anticipated dream as its international-standard cricket stadium nears completion. The Rs 185-crore project, initiated in 2017, has reached 80% of civil construction, according to Tripura Cricket Association (TCA) President Tapan Lodh. “The cricket ground has already been handed over to TCA, and local tournaments have begun,” Lodh said. However, pending work includes the installation of high-mast LED lights, power metal lighting, and final steelwork on the top floor. The project is expected to be fully completed by July next year.
