Ultraviolette enters Northeast with first experience centre in Aizawl

Electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive has entered the Northeast market with the launch of its first UV Space Station in Aizawl, marking a key step in the company’s retail and service network expansion across India. The new experience centre, established in partnership with MSS Motors, will offer customers access to sales, servicing, test rides, accessories and merchandise under one roof. The facility is aimed at strengthening customer access to Ultraviolette’s electric motorcycles in the region.

According to the company, the centre will showcase its performance-oriented electric motorcycles, including the X-47 Crossover and the F77 series. The motorcycles feature a 40.2 hp powertrain, 100 Nm torque, acceleration from 0-60 kmph in 2.8 seconds and an IDC-certified range of 323 km on a single charge from a 10.3 kWh battery. Ultraviolette CEO and Co-founder Narayan Subramaniam said the Northeast has a strong motorcycling culture and growing interest in electric mobility, making Aizawl a strategic choice for the company’s first experience centre in the region.

The launch comes amid Ultraviolette’s broader efforts to promote electric vehicle adoption, including its recently introduced “Kill the Petrol Bill” programme, which offers benefits of up to ₹30,000 to eligible customers upgrading to the company’s electric motorcycles based on their previous riding history. The UV Space Station is located at Ramhlun North near Zangena Petrol Pump in Aizawl.
