Trinamool MP Mahua Maitra, who is known for her scathing criticism of the BJP, has now posted a video of her making tea at a roadside tea stall and wonders where this tea time might take her. It was a veiled dig at Prime Minister Modi who, it is widely known, worked as a chaiwala in childhood.
The video of Mahua Maitra making tea referring to the Prime Minister has gone viral. The video is from her Lok Sabha constituency Krishnanagar where the Trinamool MP is seen stirring sugar in a pot of boiling tea while a few people look on. As soon as the tea was ready, the shopkeeper extended her hand. The Trinamool leader is promoting the Trinamool government’s new campaign ‘Didir Suraksha Kabach’ in 2023 with an eye on the panchayat elections in her constituency.
