On Monday evening, a strong earthquake struck off the coast of eastern Taiwan, the Central Weather Bureau said, shaking felt in the capital Taipei but no immediate reports of damage. India on Wednesday successfully tested short-range, surface to surface-guided ballistic missile ‘Pralay' off the Odisha coast,  known from the DRDO sources. The missile is  developed by the Defence Research Development Organisation which is based on Prithvi Defence Vehicle from the Indian ballistic missile programme.
