Yamaha bets on style and connected features to refresh 125cc scooter portfolio

India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. on Tuesday announced a refresh of its 125cc Fi Hybrid scooter portfolio, introducing new colours, updated graphics, styling enhancements and technology upgrades across the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, as the two-wheeler maker seeks to appeal to young and style-conscious urban riders. The RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid gets new paint finishes and graphics, while the RayZR Street Rally TFT variant now features a Colour TFT Instrument Cluster with Turn-by-Turn (TBT) Navigation. The Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid has also received new shades and contemporary design elements aimed at strengthening its premium appeal.

Prices range from Rs 78,980 for the Fascino Drum variant to Rs 1,00,440 for the RayZR Street Rally TFT, ex-showroom Delhi. The RayZR Street Rally LCD is priced at Rs 93,930, RayZR Disc at Rs 87,680 and Drum at Rs 79,880. Fascino S, Disc and Drum variants are priced at Rs 99,030, Rs 91,070 and Rs 78,980, respectively. The refreshed portfolio could help Yamaha strengthen its position in Kolkata’s competitive scooter market, where urban commuters increasingly seek a mix of fuel efficiency, styling, convenience and connected technology. The new colours and navigation-equipped variants could particularly appeal to younger buyers.

Both scooters feature Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator Hybrid Technology, Enhanced Power Assist, Silent Start and Stop & Start System, along with telescopic suspension, 21-litre under-seat storage, side-stand engine cut-off, E20 compatibility and smartphone connectivity. The Fascino S and RayZR Street Rally additionally offer Colour TFT displays, TBT navigation and Answer Back functionality.
