Northeastern Electric Power Corporation Limited leads with 11 projects, while the Dibang Multipurpose Project, expected to be the largest at 2,880 MW, is underway. The Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project, with a capacity of 2,000 MW, is in advanced stages, with some units already commissioned and the rest expected to be operational by December 2026.
