In advance of International Women's Day, the Arunachal Pradesh Department of Women and Child Development held a marathon in Itanagar to honor womanhood and celebrate women's empowerment. For senior and junior female competitors, there was a 5-kilometer fun run and a 10-kilometer marathon.
