Few days back, An Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) had issued a warning notice from the India Meteorological Department, about heavy rainfall within the parts of northeast states. Assam govt. orders to keep students hydrated during school hours

Amidst increasing weather temperature in the state, Assam the education department has issued a notification to protect students from the heat wave. The Elementary Education Department of Assam's Kamrup Metropolitan District issued a notification which said schools need to ring the water bell three times every day during school hours so the students stay hydrated and remain protected from the scorching heat. Further, the notification also stated the morning assembly prayer need get to arranged inside the classroom rather than open space under the sun.

Clash between two communities in Assam’s Bajali dist

In Assam's Bajali district a dispute between two students took place which turned out to be communal clash. Several people turned violent against each other due to which many were injured and shifted to nearby hospital. Miscreants attempts to kill youth over family feud, Assam

A youth in Digboi, Assam identified as Amrit Thakur was brutally attacked by a group of miscreants who attempted to kill him. According to the sources, the horrifying incident took place at Digboi Chariali locality. The victim alleged that the attack was done by his wife's relatives due to family feud.
