An old women named Ramati Baishya who is 105 years old was honoured by the authorities of central Assam’s Kamrup district on April 14, which is first day of Assamese year and Rogali Bihu of Assam. Crude oil leakage under control, Assam

Oil India Private Limited at Dighaltarang Tea Estate in the Tinsukia District of Assam has recently reported leakage in the x-mass tree assembly on top of a crude oil well. According to the sources, immediate actions were taken as soon as the situation took place at site. As a precautionary measure, the fire service was mobilized and kept on standby. Kerala Police arrests a Assam native accused for rape

An Assam native was arrested by Kerala police for allegedly raping a 52 year old woman belongs from Alappuzha district. According to the sources, the accused raped and injured the four days ago on December 13. The woman worked as a daily wage laborer at a railway station, the accused took her saying he would take her to a nearest station. Later, he took her in an isolated area and raped her brutally.
