Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat submitted his resignation to Governor Baby Rani Maurya on Friday, as per the news agency ANI. In a fiasco which reached its crescendo in barely four months, Uttarakhand will get its third Chief Minister in one year. Tirath said he had resigned to avoid a constitutional crisis.
