In the biggest drug seizure in Mizoram’s history, police have confiscated 15 kilograms of heroin and more than 70 kilograms of methamphetamine tablets in two separate but closely coordinated operations. Three individuals have been arrested, exposing what officials describe as a “deep-rooted cross-border trafficking network” with possible links to Myanmar.
