Google India Digital Services Pvt Ltd has told the Delhi High Court that its Google Pay app does not require RBI authorisation as it is not a payment system operator but a third-party application provider. Massive explosion at Baghjan oil field

A massive explosion has been reported from one of the Oil India wells in Baghjan in Assam's Tinsukia district. The explosion happened when an operation was underway to douse the fire that has been raging at the Baghjan oil field for 56 days now. US govt orders up to 100 million doses of coronavirus vaccines

The US government has ordered Pfizer Inc and German biotech firm BioNTech SE to to produce and deliver 100 million doses of their COVID-19 vaccine candidate for $1.95 billion. Pfizer will deliver the doses if the covid vaccine receives emergency use authorization or licensure from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, after completing demonstration of safety and efficacy in a large Phase 3 clinical trial. The vaccine being developed by Pfizer and BioNTech has shown promise in early-stage small studies in humans.
