The Supreme Court has directed UPSC to file their affidavit by tomorrow listing down the logistical reasons for not postponing the civil services examinations 2020. The apex court will now hear the plea on September 30, 2020.The petitioners have sought postponement of the Civil Services Exam for two to three months, so that the flood/ incessant rains go away and COVID-19 curve flattens. As part of a recent clinical trial, researchers at King’s College London measured Heart rate variability (HRV) in participants undergoing a mental stress challenge and saw improved measures of HRV in participants who had been replacing typical snacks with almonds over a six-week period.
