Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has gone into self-quarantine after developing sore throat and fever, and will gethimself tested for Covid-19 on Tuesday, officials said on Monday. Kejriwal on Sunday has addressed a digital press conference. “Dear Arvind Kejriwal - you are our inspiration and hero - a frontline warrior against coronavirus. You put yourself at risk for the well-being of people of Delhi. As you face a health challenge, our thoughts, wishes and prayers are with you,” tweeted Raghav Chadha, National Spokesperson.

As complaints mounted on social media of poor treatment at Delhi’s hospitals, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Sunday that all government and private hospitals in the city would only treat Delhi residents till the rising COVID-19 cases are contained. There has been an increase in anti-militancy operations in the Valley since April. Three unidentified militants were on Sunday killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said. "Five terrorists have been eliminated in operation Reban in Shopian," defence spokesperson Col Rajesh Kalia said. The civil services preliminary examination 2020, postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be held on October 4, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced on Friday. It also said the personality test of the candidates selected through the last year's civil services preliminary and mains will resume from July 20.
