ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has won the prestigious Best Innovator Award at the National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA) 2025 for its efforts in improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions in steelmaking. Nissan Motor India announced that its upcoming seven-seater B-MPV will be called GRAVITE and is scheduled for launch in early 2026. The MPV will be produced at the Renault-Nissan facility in Chennai and marks the first major rollout under Nissan’s refreshed model pipeline aimed at regaining ground in the Indian passenger market. According to the company, the GRAVITE draws inspiration from the concept of gravity, symbolising balance, stability and appeal. An elderly resident of Asansol has become the first patient in Eastern India to receive the indigenously manufactured MyCLIP TEER device for treating severe mitral regurgitation. The procedure was performed at Manipal Hospital, EM Bypass, Kolkata on November 29.  The 60-year-old patient, identified as Ramswaroop, a small business owner from Asansol, suffered from multiple cardiac complications, including heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and severely reduced pumping function. Doctors said open-heart surgery posed high risks, making the minimally invasive TEER procedure the only viable option.
