After the government of India banned 59 Chinese apps for everyone in the country, the Indian army asks soldiers and officers to delete 89 apps from their smartphone. The report first comes from news agency ANI. The agency posted a full list of 89 apps on Wednesday. Notably, the list includes more than just apps with China origin such as Facebook, Tinder, Instagram, among others. Lockdown has been extended in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and West Bengal till July 31 due to the continuous spike in COVID-19 cases and deaths. An Indian Army convoy was attacked by a group of terrorists in Pampore durinh which a lady sustained minor injuries. According to the police, the attack on the Army convoy took place in Ladoo area of Pampore in Awantipora district of South Kashmir.  The lady, whose identity has not been revealed, got minor injuries and was shifted to nearby hospital for treatment and was discharged. After the attack, whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers all the entry and exit points are sealed in the area.

The total number of coronavirus positive cases in Tamil Nadu stands at 1,26,581 including 46,652 active cases and 1,765 deaths, according to data released by the state health department. Tamil Nadu has reported 4,231 new cases of Covid 19 infections on Thursday apart from 65 deaths caused by the disease.
