Piped natural gas will soon be available to households in Mizoram, with the Tripura–Mizoram gas pipeline project expected to be completed by 2027. Currently, over 20% of the 119.5-kilometre pipeline has been installed, showing significant progress that will enhance energy access throughout the state, especially in its capital, Aizawl.
