Mizoram to reinstate PAP and RAP for foreigners after long pause

The Mizoram government is working to implement the Protected Area Regime (PAR) following a directive from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to reinstate the system after 13 years of relaxation. Two Myanmarese Women escape from Mizoram jail via tin sheet toilet

Two Myanmarese women inmates have escaped from a jail in Mizoram's Champhai district, officials confirmed on Thursday, December 18. The escapees have been identified as Vansuieni alias Suinunfeli (36) from Tahan in Myanmar’s Sagaing division and Lalchhanmawii (44) from Khawmawi village in Myanmar’s Chin state.
