A man has been arrested by the Forest Department in Belonia Sub-division of South Tripura District for possessing raw venison (deer meat) suspected to be poached. Following a tip-off, a joint operation was conducted early on Friday by officials from the Bagafa, Kakulia, and Rajnagar Trishna Wildlife Ranges.
