Increase of 524 Covid cases in India in a single day

After a 113-day hiatus, India recorded 524 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of active cases to 3,618, according to data provided on Sunday by the Union Health Ministry.

The figures updated at 8 am showed that the death toll rose to 5,30,781 after Kerala reconciled one fatality.

The total number of cases involving Covid was 4.46 crore (4,46,90,492).
