Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that, the last date for filing Income Tax Return will not be extended. Taxpayers must note that the due date for filing ITR will remain December 31, 2021. On Friday Revenue Secretary Tarun Bajaj said, December 31 remains the official deadline for filing income tax returns. 80 terrorists arrested, infiltration is down this year in Jammu and Kashmir

The police in Jammu and Kashmir in 100 successful operations in 2021 have killed 182 terrorists, including 44 top ones, DGP Dilbag Singh informed on Friday. From January 01, as per government orders all food delivery apps will be liable to pay a 5% GST, on their restaurant services. At the 45th meeting of the GST Council, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, announced that platforms such as Swiggy and Zomato should pay GST on behalf of their partner restaurants, including cloud kitchens and central kitchens, whose services are available through their apps.
