Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Listed on Geekbench With Snapdragon 6 Gen 5: Expected Specs and Features

The Redmi Note 17 series may soon get two new models in select global markets. Xiaomi’s sub-brand is reportedly preparing the Redmi Note 17 4G and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max for markets outside China. The Pro Max has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing some of its possible specifications and performance details ahead of an official announcement.The device was listed on the benchmarking platform with model number 2609FRA74G. While Geekbench does not identify the smartphone by name, Gizchina reports that this model number is associated with the global version of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.The listing mentions Qualcomm’s QTI SM6850 chipset, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5. The processor is reportedly configured with four cores clocked at 2.02GHz and four cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.61GHz.The Geekbench listing also shows 7.22GB of RAM. This is expected to be marketed as an 8GB RAM configuration when the smartphone officially goes on sale. The phone is tipped to run Android 16 with HyperOS 3, while the graphics are reportedly handled by an Adreno 812 GPU.In terms of performance, the alleged Redmi Note 17 Pro Max scored 924 points in the single-core test and 2,923 points in the multi-core test. The device also posted its highest scores in the PDF Viewer and Asset Compression tests.Earlier leaks have already revealed some more details about the upcoming smartphone. The European variant is reportedly expected to have a starting price of EUR 600, equivalent to around Rs. 65,000. The base variant could offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.The smartphone is also expected to feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a huge 9,210mAh battery. However, these specifications have not been confirmed by Xiaomi and are currently based on leaks and the Geekbench listing.Xiaomi is yet to officially announce the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max for global markets. Details regarding its launch date, pricing and final specifications are therefore still awaited.
