Assam to generate 10,000 more jobs in September

Assam records highest rate of crime against women

A 15.3% increase in crime against women has been recorded with a total of 4,28,278 cases registered during 2021, according to National Crime Records Bureau data. Meghalaya petrol, diesel price hike

The Meghalaya government has hiked the prices of petrol and diesel, state Revenue Minister James PK Sangma said. Tax on petrol was Rs 11 per liter or 13.5 percent, whichever is higher. It has been revised to Rs 12.50 per liter or 13.5 percent, whichever is higher. Sangma said, “You may know that the state of Assam has hiked the prices of petrol and diesel.
