Congress slams PM Modi to leave Manipur torn

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi along with his colleagues travelled from Delhi to Manipur to launch Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to launch in the state. According to the sources, the yatra will commence from Thoubal district of Manipur and will culminate in Mumbai on March 20 or 21 covering 110 districts in 67 days. Additionally, during the yatra the party will be using buses to carry the process from Manipur. Also, during the inaugural ceremony the party criticised PM Modi for not visiting the state at the time of need.

Silchar authorities take concern over increasing number of vehicle

Due to the rising number of vehicles in Silchar, Assam the authorities have launched awareness campaign to promote safety across the city. District Administration and Cachar Police has initiated traffic rules including use helmet, seat belt, refrain from parking in unauthorised areas. As per the initiative, the authorities have deployed police van if violated fines to be imposed with immediate effect.

Guwahati couldn’t manage to shine at Swachh Survekshan 2023

Government announcement for financial assistance for women, Assam

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa has launched a new scheme 'Lakhpati Baideo' for significant move to empower women entrepreneurs in the state, Assam. The scheme initiates to provide financial support of Rs 35,000 to 40 lakh women. General and OBC are expected to limit their children to three, on the other hand, SC/ST/Moran/Matak and Tea tribes are restricted to four children. Investigation on cyber crime for hacking Assam CM account

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's Facebook account was hacked by some unidentified user. The information was shared by the minister through his social media handle. He said, “Unknown hackers made an attempt to hack my Facebook account this evening. Thirteen girls rescued from human trafficking, Assam

According to the reports, thirteen teenage girls were rescued by the police from Rangapara railway station and arrested the accused.
