Missing minor girl found dead in forest

The body of a missing 17-year-old girl was found in the jungles of Jawahar Sagar Dam on Thursday. Jawahar Nagar DSP and CO Ankit Jain told PTI that her body was found fully clothed. Assam success rate in class 10 board exams dips down

The Board of Secondary Education Assam (BESA) announced the results of the Class 10 board exams on Tuesday, with 56.49 percent passing out of 4,05,582 candidates, officials said. The pass percentage among boys was 58.80 per cent, while among girls it was 54.49 per cent, they said. A total of 2,29,131 candidates have cleared the exam. Dhemaji had the highest pass percentage of 85.46, while Chirang recorded the lowest of 34.27 per cent. Additionally, before 2021, the pass percentage was 93.10.

RBI allows credit cards to be linked with UPI platform

The Reserve Bank on Wednesday allowed credit cards to be linked to the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), which will enable more people to make payments using the popular platform. COVID-19 cases in country rises to 26,976

India added 3,714 new coronavirus infections taking the total number of COVID-19 cases to 4,31,85,049, while active cases rose to 26,976, according to the Union Health Ministry. According to reports, the death toll has reached 5,24,708 with seven new fatalities. An increase of 1,194 cases was recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours. And the daily positivity rate was recorded at 1.21 percent while the weekly positivity rate was 0.97 percent. The number of people who have recovered from the disease has increased to 4,26,33,365.
