Gold falls by Rs 134, silver declines Rs 169

Gold prices in the national capital fell by Rs 134 to Rs 50,601 per 10 grams on Wednesday, according to HDFC Securities. In earlier trade, the precious metal settled at Rs 50,735 per 10 grams. Silver also fell by Rs 169 to Rs 62,787 per kg from Rs 62,956 per kg in the previous trade. The rupee rose 8 paise to settle at 76.40 (provisional) against the US dollar on Wednesday after RBI's surprise rate hike ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy decision.

No one can be forced to get vaccinated’: Supreme Court

Directing the central government to disclose the adverse effects of the COVID-19 vaccine, the Supreme Court on Monday said that a person cannot be forced to get vaccinated against his will. For Delhi-NCR, the Met department has forecast dust storms from Monday and the maximum temperature will settle around 39 degrees Celsius. 50% passenger tax waived in J&K

The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Monday approved a 50 per cent rebate on passenger tax levied on various vehicles during the last fiscal year, a government spokesperson said. This was approved in a meeting of the Administrative Council chaired by Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha.
