Adipurush in legal trouble: FIR filed against makers and cast of Prabhas-starrer for ‘distorting image of Hindu gods’

Shishir Chaturvedi, the national spokesperson of the Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha, registered an FIR with the Hazratganj police against the producers and the star cast of the mythological movie 'Adipurush'. Chaturvedi claimed that the movie has been produced with an intension to hurt/insult the sentiments of Hindu by misrepresenting the characters of Hindu gods and goddesses with vulgar dialogues and costumes. The film was released on 16th of June, it features actor Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Prabhas.

34,000 people affected due to continuous rain

Assam situation continuously getting worsen due to continuous rain as Monsoon hits the state. So far 11 districts are affected in state, Assam. According to reports, 34,000 people in the state are affected due to flood.  Bishwanath, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Lakhimpur, Tamulpur and Udalguri are among the affected districts. Most of the rivers, including the Brahmaputra, are maintaining a trend of rising water level at different places though none are flowing above the danger mark, according to the daily flood report of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA).
