Assam witness 4.8 magnitude earthquake

On Friday, i.e. today Assam witnessed an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale jolted. The earthquake struck the state, Assam around 10.16 am, informed by the National Centre of Seismology. According to the sources, no casualty reported and no property damaged during the quake. Also the quake lasted for 20 seconds and the tremors were mainly felt in southern Assam.
