Investigation on car accident, no conclusion

On Saturday, two deaths in kaziranga National Highway 37 took place. According to the sources, the accident took place near Haldhibari locality near Kaziranga, Assam. The commercial vehicle crashed with a truck that was parked on the shoulder of the National Highway. The reason of the accident is not yet confirmed. Investigation are on its way and details are awaiting for its final confirmation. Also the identities of the victims are not yet revealed by the police.

Assam to prevent flood situations, meetings held

On Friday, a meeting was held to prevent flood situations in Assam in the presence of Water Resources Minister Pijush Hazarika and other engineers of the water resources department. The focus of the meeting was prevent Assam from flood situations, repair 41 damaged sites and focus on the ongoing construction of ring bunds, sluice gates and other structures. Water Resources Minister Pijush also announced no permanent work of the water resource department would be carried out from May 15 to October, only temporary works will be carried out.

AIUDF accuses Congress for falling into the trap of BJP

Assam Chief Minister declares ‘Gunotsav 2023’ result

‘Gunotsav 2023’ which took place from January 18 to February 18 results were released on Monday by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The evaluation scheme covered 44,531 schools and 41,35,163 (96.69 per cent) students in all 31 districts, Assam. A father’s life taken away by his own sons

On Wednesday, a shocking incident took place here against an elderly man in dhubri district, Assam. The actual incident took place on Tuesday, according to the sources. A senior Police officer reported that, an elderly man was killed by his own sons due to family dispute. The deceased identified as Sopiyal Ali from Saslapura village. Amritpal reaches Assam with special flight

On Sunday, Amritpal Singh was brought to Dibrugarh, Assam and currently he is taken to Central Jail. According to the sources, he was brought to Assam in a special flight from Bathinda. Earlier, Amritpal was arrested by Punjab police from Rode village in the northern state and now he is brought to Assam and kept under tight security. On Monday, Siksha Setu Asom Portal App was launched to collect information about schools, teachers, students and other information in Assam. Cairn Oil & Gas tests production from Hazarigaon field for clean energy initiatives

According to recent updates, Tinsukia district of Assam has been facing heavy hailstorm and thunderstorm, affecting people’s lives and houses, facing power cuts due to falling of trees and many more. On Sunday, Met department warned of thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds in Assam and its neighboring areas over the next two days.
