Merging of small madrasas with large one, Assam

The threat of radicalization from madrassas in Assam has become a major issue. Henceforth, to reduce the threat, the Assam government decided to merge the small madrasas with the big madrasas. New rule implemented for state’s senior most bureaucrats that they must take CM’S permission for leave set by Assam government. Rhino spotted in Pava Reserve Forest

On Wednesday, forest officials said that one-horned rhino was spotted in the area of Pava Reserve Forest in Lakhimpur district of Assam. Assam DGP announces lowest criminal records

DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahant said that criminal activities have reduced in Assam in the last year. A video of an air hostess aboard the Yeti Airlines plane that crashed in Nepal on Sunday has surfaced on the internet.
