3.5 magnitude earthquake hits Guwahati

According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred northeast of Guwahati at 12:27 PM and the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.5 which occurred in Guwahati during the afternoon period. “Today at 12:27 PM an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 occurred 62 km northeast of Guwahati. The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has said that the Assam Social Welfare Department procured excessive rates and gave undue benefits of over ₹94 crore to rice and pea suppliers in 2019-20.
