The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its list of 28 candidates for the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections, deciding to contest all seats independently. The announcement was made by state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee at the party’s headquarters in Agartala, with notable figures including Chief Minister Manik Saha and other senior leaders in attendance. Among the key candidates are Rabindra Reang (Damchhara-Jampui), Manju Rani Sarkar (Machmara), and Bimal Kanti Chakma (Karamchera). The Chief Minister noted that candidates were finalized after a core committee meeting and that the list received approval from the central leadership. In a social media post, Saha wished the candidates success in their efforts to serve the community and promote development in the region.
