A previously unknown butterfly species, Euthalia (Limbusa) zubeengargi, has been discovered in the forests of Arunachal Pradesh and named in honor of Assamese singer Zubeen Garg. This species was found in the Basar region of Leparada district, which is recognized as a biodiversity hotspot that remains largely unexplored in Northeast India.
