Assam government has announced incentives for the frontline workers in Assam who are engaged in the vaccination drive. The state government has decided to give a monetary incentive of Rs 1,500 per month to each Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) along with their monthly salary till completion of vaccination. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “The monetary incentive will be given from January to March 31. Oil India Ltd’s first 100 kw Green Hydrogen facility at Jorhat, Assam

Oil India Ltd is setting up a plant to manufacture green hydrogen in Jorhat, Assam. “To strengthen its clean energy offerings”, the company has initiated for setting up a 100 kw green hydrogen plant at its Pump station-3 in Jorhat,” the company said. “The plant in Assam will generate green hydrogen using AEM technology, this is a first of its kind project in the country,” said a statement.
