Two men, including a police constable, have been arrested for allegedly raping an 18-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district. The accused have been identified as constable Lakhandra, posted in Farukhabad district, and his associate Amit. Both the deceased are residents of the same village. The Uttar Pradesh government will not give grants to any new madrasas, the state cabinet has decided. UP Minister of State for Minority Welfare Danish Azad Ansari told PTI on Wednesday that the decision was taken at a state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath a day ago.
