Vintage Willys Jeeps rolled on the road to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh on Monday. The rally, which started from The Hump WW-II Museum at Pasighat and culminated at Nampong, honoured the sacrifices of the past and highlighted Arunachal Pradesh’s significant role during World War-II, including the legacy of the Ledo (Stilwell) Road. The journey towards Namsai, with community pit stops along the way, reflected strong public participation and collective remembrance.
