Tripura has witnessed a remarkable increase in rice production this year, with Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath expressing confidence that Khowai and Dhalai districts are on the verge of achieving food self-sufficiency. The minister made the announcement during a visit to Lankamura in West Tripura, where he inspected paddy fields and joined local farmers in harvesting.
