UGC NET 2021 result likely to be declared soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2021 exam result today through their official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The provisional answer key was released on January 21, 2022. The objection window was opened till January 24, 2022.  The University Grants Commission (UGC) had merged National Eligibility Test (NET) Examination for December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. The examination was conducted on November 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, December 1, 3, 4, 5 and January 4 and 5, 2022. The last UGC-NET was held in June 2020. Delhi records 766 fresh Covid-19 cases

A total of 766 fresh Covid-19 cases were recorded in Delhi out of  56,112 tests conducted during the past 24 hours across the national capital. The number of fresh Covid-19 cases in Delhi recorded yesterday were 756 while the positivity rate was 1.52 per cent. According to the latest Delhi government’s health bulletin, the infection positivity rate stood at 1.37 per cent. The city lost five lives due to the virus infection, taking the cumulative count of such fatalities to 26,086, it said. In all, there were 3197 active cases of the virus in the city, the bulletin pointed out.

94 killed in heavy rainfall, landslides in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro

At least 94 people were killed in the Brazilian town of Petropolis north of Rio de Janeiro due to heavy rainfalls and subsequent landslides. Heavy rainfalls hit Brazil on Tuesday, triggering landslides and flooding. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro tasked his ministers to assist the victims of floods in Petropolis, as per Sputnik.
