Fire broke out on the 10th floor of a residential building in Kolkata''s Alipore area on Saturday evening, police said.There are no reports of any casualties, they said. Five fire tenders are at the spot to douse the blaze that broke out around 8.40 pm, police said.The entire building, located on upscale Belvedere Road, has been evacuated, a senior officer of the fire department said. "The fire is under control at the moment. Our officers are still working there," he said. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, he added. 

Maharashtra’s Covid-19 tally now stands at 2,00,064 while the death toll went up to 8,671 with 295 casualties. Heavy rains will continue to lash Mumbai and the coastal districts of Maharashtra for the second consecutive day on Saturday, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The IMD had issued a red alert late on Friday for Mumbai, Raigad and Ratnagiri. It had predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall on Saturday in many places in Palghar, Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts. In June, Google removed over 50 apps from its Play Store, after discovering they contained a malicious adware which could leave Android devices unusable. A cyber security firm has now revealed a further 25 malicious apps which have been banned by Google, and is advising Android users to remove them from their devices. The apps allow hackers to target Facebook users and steal their personal details. In total the 25 malicious apps have been installed over 2.3 million times. Microsoft is introducing a new Windows 10 Start menu design that will de-emphasize its Live Tiles. The software giant first hinted at the refreshed design earlier this year, and it’s arriving for Windows 10 testers today. “We are freshening up the Start menu with a more streamlined design that removes the solid color backplates behind the logos in the apps list and applies a uniform, partially transparent background to the tiles,” explains Microsoft in a blog post. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated India's first 'Plasma Bank' through video conference on July 2, 2020.
